Bulgarian defense minister Nikolai Svinarov on Wednesday awarded a Reuters photographer with an order for bravery for his service during the war in Iraq, the BGNES news agency reported. Sofia-based Reuters photographer Oleg Popov received a second-grade order "For loyal service under the colors".
The Defense Ministry said it was awarding the journalist "for his high professionalism in reporting the developments in Iraq."
